Welcome to Château des Landes!
Dating from the 19th century, you will find this recently renovated château a charming and peaceful location to stay in. Surrounded by a lush parkland and nearby farm and forest, our bed and breakfast offers you a taste of 19th century country living with today’s comfort. We offer five nicely decorated guest rooms with an ensuite bathroom and the possibility to dine with us. On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday you can sign up for an aperitif in the garden or the salon and we offer table d’hôtes with a four-course menu. The other days we offer the option of a ‘plat du jour’.

The location
The château is conveniently located between Amiens, Le Tréport, Dieppe and Rouen and only a few kilometers from the A28 and A29 motorways. Its central location in Normandy makes it a great place to stay as a stopover to locations further south or to stay longer and enjoy all that the area has to offer. It would be a pleasure to welcome you to our home in Landes-Vieilles-et-Neuves.
About us
During our college years in Leiden we both worked in a restaurant and enjoyed both the work as the food and wine. Our first trip we fell in love with each other and with Normandy in all its diversity. We got married, had two beautiful daughters and lived and worked in the Middle East for several years. During this period we owned a house in Normandy where we were able to receive our family and friends for years, a great joy. When we got the chance to change our lives in 2018, we chose to make it our business.
Searching for a suitable property for our bed & breakfast, we spotted Château des Landes. Surrounded by meadows and cornfields, the Forêt d’Eu and the conviviality of the neighbours, we soon felt at home. The renovation from the beginning of 2020 until spring 2022 turns the château into a venue where we can welcome our guests as friends. As a lover of classic cars, Otto plans to equip the garage in due course with a vehicle lift and other specialized tools. Guests who visit us to tour with a vintage car in the area, can then easily carry out minor repairs to their cars.
